Q: How long will a provisional booking hold for?


A: A provisional booking will hold for 1 week after that time if you inform us you are still interested in the date we will extend the hold date.

 


Q: How much is the deposit?


A: An initial deposit of €650 is required to secure the date then 3 months following your booking date a second deposit of €900 is required and finally 3 months prior to Wedding date a third deposit of €900 is due. Deposits are non-transferable or refundable.

 


Q: When do I pick my menu?


A: Approximately 6-8 weeks prior to your Wedding date we will send you a Sunday lunch voucher and ask you to make an appointment that we can discuss the final details of your wedding day at The Summerhill House Hotel.

 


Q: Can I bring my own wine?


A: Yes you can supply your own wine a corkage charge does apply.

 


Q: Can we have a choice on the menu?


A: Yes, all menus can have a choice, though a supplement may apply.

 


Q: Can we have our Blessing/Civil ceremony at the hotel?


A: Yes, we now have a full Wedding license and can facilitate civil ceremonies we have also hosted a number of blessings and humanist services. We would be delighted to discuss this option with you.

 


Q. Do you offer Children’s Menu?


A: Yes we can provide 2 options for children either half portions of the wedding menu or soup/ Nuggets/Sausages and chips / Ice cream. Details for this can be confirmed when finalising wedding menu.

 


Q. Can you cater for dietary requirements?


A. Yes, we are more than happy to cater for all dietary requirements if we are given advance notice. We will ask you to advise us on any you may have when we are finalising your wedding menu.
